FOSBR (Friends Of Sandsage Bison Range) invites you to take part in adopting a buffalo. When you adopt a buffalo you are helping to keep a legend alive. The Sandsage Bison Range and Wildlife Area consists of 3,670 acres of sandsage prairie biome and is home to the oldest publicly owned bison herd in Kansas.

Who is FOSBR?
FOSBR is a voluntary organization dedicated to the protection and improvement of the Sandsage Bison Range. One of FOSBR's goals is to develop, implement and sustain a system to accomodate the increased demand for tours of the refuge to the general public. By adopting a buffalo, your generosity will help keep tours available for visitors to see the herd up close in the future. Just as the prairie and the animals depend on one another to live, your donation helps the Friends Of The Sandsage Bison Range And Wildlife Area welcome future visitors and supporters to see the herd and preserve the sandsage prairie.

For your annual donation you will recieve:

*An adoption certificate suitable for framing
*A picture of your adopted buffalo
* We will keep you up to date with a semi-annual newsletter, The Buffalo Horn
*In this newsletter we will recognize the pround new parents
*Your donation is tax deductable
